[262] According to Oscar Hadley, grandson of Joshua and Margaret, three brothers came to MS in early 1800s. John Hadley, b. 1799 in NC settled Monroe Co. MS, Joshua Hadley, b 1801, settled Chickasaw Co MS. Thomas, b 1809 has not been definitely located. Parents names unknown. Joshua Hadley Franklin Co AL 1830 census. Joshua Hadley is also in Choctaw Co MS in 1840 living near Jacob Starnes.
